How we work
Star Media’s systems and procedures allow us to work with our clients in the most efficient and effective way possible.
 
•  Media policies development
    You decide what types of policies regarding makegoods, credits, paperwork, solicitations
by charities, media representative sales calls, etc. you want instituted on your behalf.
     
  •  General paperwork policies
    You determine who in your company should be kept informed with with what type of paperwork: strategic documents, approvals/authorizations, media invoice receipt and payment, conference reports, etc.
     
  •  Three-part paperwork system
    Customized insertion orders, logs and invoice verification status reports provide a transparent system that tracks where every dollar is going and lets you know what orders have been issued, what invoices have been reviewed and why the amount on a insertion order varies from the billed amount, or why an ‘approved for payment’ amount can vary from the billed amount. This system also facilitates month-end accruals preparation.

COMPENSATION
At Star Media, we provide a variety of compensation options:

•  Annual retainer, paid monthy, based on workload estimates.
  •  Compensation calculated as a percentage of media purchases, billed and paid monthly.
  •  Per-project fee.
  •  Combination of annual retainer, paid monthly, plus a percentage of selected media purchases.
  •  Hourly fees, billed monthly.

Out-of-pocket expenses are always billed at cost.
